Mid Century Modern 1960s Silk Satin Knee Length Wedding Dress YY682

A fabulous matte silk satin knee-length wedding dress in very pale ecru. From the 1960s – a Mid-Century Modern treasure! It was made by hand, lined in white silk and has tulle underneath to give the skirt the full poofy shape. With 3/4 length sleeves, it is gathered at the waist and features an assymetrical bow on the left side above a white applied lace panel. It has a narrow turned hem at the bottom and padding under the arms. Our mannequin is a size 8 and it was a tight squeeze to get the zipper closed. Please check the measurements carefully. The condition is excellent especially for its age. Hand laundered and pressed. Measurements:Across the shoulders: 12-1/2″Bust: 36″Waist: 26″Length from the base of the scoop neck in the back: 34″Sleeve length: 15″Skirt length: 24″Around the hem: 128″
